European Churchs

I still have loads of pictures sitting on my computer from our honeymoon in Europe. So I thought every now and then I would bring a variety of them out to show the world.

My theme today is Church's. Church's in Europe are all over the place and when you start seeing a lot of them they can start to seem very similar to each other. Always breathtaking though!

My thought's turned to the poor workers every time I was in them who had to slave over them to erect these massive buildings and most - if not all made out of pure stone. How did they get them all the way to the top without falling? I didn't even want to think of the times when they probably did fall! :( How did they carve such delicate features and how did they do so many? And the precision cutting they had to do to make sure it was a perfect fit was beyond me.

These are seriously just a few of the many we went to. Enjoy!
